Burundi halts Visas on Arrivals

Please be advised that due to the current political crisis in Burundi, the authorities have advised that they will NOT ISSUE visas on arrival.

This directive is effective immediately.

Please do not board guests who require a visa to enter Burundi and are not holding such visa.

Visa will not be issued on arrival.

Exempted are:-

East African Residents

Please take note and ensure all guests are advised accordingly.

 

Ministry of Health in Rwanda has asked all air operators NOT to board any guests from Liberia, Guinea-Conakry and Sierra Leone due to EBOLA outbreak.

Passengers who have traveled to the said countries within the last 22 days will not be allowed to enter Rwanda.

Penalties will be applied to the airline that will not comply.

KQ teams are instructed not to board any guests who have been to Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone in the last 22 days at time of travel.
